VACANCY – Independent Advocacy Worker

We are Hiring!

An opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Independent Advocacy Worker.  The post is 20 hours per week, you will be based in our head office in Inverness, but will be required to travel to to cover the wider area of Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and a commitment to equality.

It is essential that you have good people skills and are committed to upholding the rights of people who are marginalized by society. It would be beneficial if you have sound knowledge of advocacy and an understanding of the circumstances which can lead to people needing advocacy support.

Post holders must possess a full driving licence and have access to personal transport. The successful applicant will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Disclosure Scotland check and references.

Interviews will be held during the week of 6th December 2021
