Advocacy Highland is delighted to announce that we have been awarded Investors in People (IIP) Platinum accreditation, the highest level of recognition available.
Platinum status is awarded to a small number of organisations and recognises exceptional leadership, a strong values‑led culture, and outstanding people management practices. Achieving this accreditation confirms our long‑term commitment to supporting staff and volunteers, embedding our values, and continuously improving how we work.
The assessment included an independent staff survey with an exceptionally high response rate, alongside confidential interviews and review of our leadership, governance, performance management and wellbeing practices. Feedback highlighted the strength of trust across the organisation, high levels of engagement, and the positive impact of our approach on service delivery.
This recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism and compassion of everyone involved with Advocacy Highland; our staff, volunteers, Board members and partners. It reinforces our commitment to delivering high‑quality independent advocacy for people across the Highlands.
Philippa Cliff, chairperson commented “I am incredibly proud that we have achieved the Platinum Investors in People accreditation. This prestigious award reflects the unwavering dedication, professionalism, and passion of every member of our team. Achieving Platinum is not simply about meeting a standard, it demonstrates a deep, sustained commitment to creating an organisation where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our entire team. Your hard work and belief in our shared vision have made this achievement possible. This award belongs to all of you.
We will continue to build on this success with the same drive and integrity that brought us here, ensuring that our organisation remains a place where people truly make a difference.”
