Advocacy Area Co-ordinator– Ross & Cromarty
£10147.80 – (15 hours)

Advocacy Highland is a leading Highland-wide voluntary organisation, providing person-centred advocacy for people with a wide range of complex support needs. We are an organisation driven by strong values and a firm commitment to choice, dignity and social inclusion.
We are seeking a co-ordinator that has enthusiasm and excellent communications skills, to manage, promote and provide independent advocacy.
It is essential that you have good people skills and are committed to upholding the rights of people who are marginalized by society. You will have a sound knowledge of advocacy and an understanding of the circumstances, which can lead to people needing advocacy support.
You will also be required to recruit, train and support paid and volunteer advocates in Ross & Cromarty.
You will be working from your own home and required to work flexibly using your own initiative.
Post holders must possess a full driving license and have access to personal transport. Applicants will be subject to satisfactory PVG Disclosure Scotland checks.
The closing date for applications is Friday 2nd February 2018
Interviews will be held in Inverness on Tuesday 13th February 2018
