We are flexible and open to discussion about working hours and hybrid working, however, a minimum of 2 days per week is expected in the office, so candidates should be Highland based within commuting distance of Inverness.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking someone who shares our core values and principles and demonstrates the following qualities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inspirational<\/strong> in their leadership<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dynamic<\/strong> in their approach<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supportive<\/strong> in their relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As CEO, you will provide strategic direction, ensure the continued delivery of a high-quality independent advocacy service, and lead the organisation with energy and vision. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Advocacy Highland in a rapidly evolving sector.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>About You<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>You will bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven leadership experience, ideally within the voluntary or third sector<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial management skills with experience desirable in securing and managing major grants and funding streams<\/li>\n<li>A solid understanding of relevant legislation and policy<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners<\/li>\n<li>A genuine passion for advocacy, social justice and human rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Experience in independent advocacy is preferred but not essential.<\/p>\n<p>A full driving licence and PVG membership are required.<\/p>\n<p>Two references will be requested, including one from your current or most recent employer.<\/p>\n<p>For more information see the Recruitment Information document and Job Description and Person Specification below or get in touch with Maya Uddin at 01463 233460 or 07917 327714<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Complete the application form below demonstrating how your skills, experience and values align with the requirements of the role.\u00a0 Be specific about your achievements and provide examples that show your ability to lead, inspire, and uphold the principles of independent advocacy.
